As Chair, you'll provide strategic leadership to our Board of Trustees, ensuring United St Saviour's Charity is well governed, financially sustainable and focused on delivering lasting impact for the people of Southwark. Working closely with our Chief Executive, you'll guide the Board in setting strategic direction, oversee governance, accountability and risk, and create the conditions for an engaged, high-performing Board. As an ambassador for the charity, you'll promote our values and reputation, and represent the Board where needed, including in situations requiring urgent decision-making.
We're looking for someone with board leadership experience — ideally having chaired a board or significant committee — and senior leadership experience within a medium-to-large charity or purpose-driven organisation. You'll bring strength in one or more of: housing/property, governance, community development, or finance.
